Memorandum of Understanding

Holy Cross College, Saint Mary’s College and the University of Notre Dame recognize the impact that sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking and other forms of sexual harassment have had on campus communities across the country, including our own. Our three institutions feel strongly that sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking and any other form of sexual harassment have no place in our communities, given our mutual values of human dignity and respect for every student. In an effort to take a collaborative approach in our attempt to eliminate sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking and any other form of sexual harassment, and in recognition of our shared Holy Cross heritage, the three institutions have agreed to create a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”). The MOU seeks to foster communication and the sharing of information across our campus communities regarding awareness and prevention education, resources, reporting options and procedures.
